Hey all! Here's a few quick showcase reminders:

Dinner and Gate Tickets DUE WEDNESDAY: (remember to get a student ticket if they want food Saturday) https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/horizon-marching-hawks-showcase-tickets

Uniform distribution: The new performance tops are in, students can come either Friday after school or at 1:00 pm before the showcase to get their uniform items and make sure they all fit.

Schedule:
2:00 pm – Marching Rehearsal
4:00-5:30 pm – Food, games, tailgate, and DUNK TANK!!!
5:30-6:00 pm – Students change
6:00 pm – Showcase performance

This should end up being a really fun event, can't wait to see you all there!

Hey all!

Cool opportunity for the band to play at the Volleyball game on Tuesday 9/9 at 6:30 pm. This game is a “red out” game to honor Ellen Jackson, a former marching hawk DM and varsity volleyball player! It’s volunteer and worth lettering points, but I’d still love to see a big turn out from the band members who could make it! Details:

When: 9/9/25, Varsity match should start at 6:30 PM, band call at 6 PM.
Where: HHS Big Gym
Band can play before the game, in between sets, during time outs, and after the game.

We’ll chat about it more on Monday, but please think about it you’ll be able to come play!

QUICK TURN AROUND- orders are due by 9/10!
This ensures you’ll have your apparel in time for the first competition.

Students will receive theirs on Monday, so this link is for families and community supporters. We need to sell at least 49 items for the fundraiser to go through, and all apparel will ship directly to you!

Dear Horizon Band Families,

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful beginning to the school year and I want to thank you for all of the effort this past week with helping with Mile of Money and the Rapid Fundraising! It’s been such a successful kick off and I couldn’t be more proud of being a member of this supportive community!

Our first big football game and performance is around the corner. Below are a few reminders and the schedule for the football game:

Band Fees Reminder

Please ensure all outstanding band fees are paid in full. You can check your balance and pay on the band website (password is in your email).
(New!) We will be moving to Zeffy after this season for a platform made for 501c3 organizations and you can pay your band fees on there through this link:
https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/horizon-high-school-band-fees
It will ask if you want to make a donation to Zeffy to help keep things free, you can choose Other -> contribution -> $0 and it will be just the amount you want to pay toward your fees. You can use credit cards or a direct from bank option. Make sure to put your student’s first and last name so we credit the right amount to your student’s band account.

First Football Game! – August 28th

📍 Adams 12 North Stadium (Right next to Mountain Range)
12500 Delaware St, Westminster 80234
🕓 Call time is 5:00 pm, Game starts at 7:00 pm

Schedule:

5:00 pm – Call time at the Band Room
5:00-5:30 pm- Get changed into uniform, take pictures for button fundraiser
6:00 pm- Depart for North Stadium
6:15 pm- Arrive at North Stadium and unload equipment
6:45 pm- Marching Band Pre Game Performance
7:00 pm- Kick off
8:00ish pm- Students perform movement 1 and 2 of the show!
9:30-10:00 pm- Finish game, pack up, depart for HHS when done
10:15-30 pm- Arrive at HHS and dismiss

-Monday Night Rehearsals 6-9 pm (no rehearsal 9/1)
-Horizon Showcase- September 13th
-Homecoming FB Game September 19th
-Broomfield Days Parade- September 20th
-Legacy Marching Festival- September 27th
