The Marching Hawks did a fantastic job at the Broomfield Days Parade and the Fossil Ridge Marching competition. Thank you to all of the volunteers that helped to support our Hawks!
We have another busy week ahead:
Monday 9/21
Band rehearsal 3:30-5pm
**Ashly will be at the school at 5pm to hand out swag bags and buttons that have not been picked up** (If you are waiting for buttons to be made, we are hoping to have those finished by Friday)
Tuesday 9/24
Raising Cane’s Restaurant Night
Go to Raising Cane’s at 201 E. 136th Ave from 5-9pm, mention the Horizon Band and we will receive 15% of the night’s sales. You can also order online/mobile app and use the code RCFUND96. The flyer is attached below, please share it on your social media platforms!
Wednesday 9/23
The band parents have been asked to run the concessions for the Powder Puff Football game that is happening at 6:30pm at North Stadium. We are looking for 6 parents to help run the concession stands. This is a fun and easy way to earn money for the band, if you are able to help, please sign up here:

Friday 9/25
Homecoming Football Game
**We are in need of a semi driver for Friday, if you have a CDL or know someone who does and is willing to drive for us, please let Malisa Denke know ASAP at malisa.denke@live.com
Saturday 9/26
Legacy Marching Festival at 5 Star Stadium
The student’s will perform at the Legacy Marching Festival at noon. We are in need of chaperones and pit crew help. If you are able to chaperone or pull pit please sign up below:
**A few things about the festival, Thornton High School is under construction, there will be NO parking available at Thornton High School, there is a new lot off of Grant, but it is a hike, please plan accordingly. Also, the stadium has a STRICT clear bag policy.**
Snacks
We are still in need of snacks and water. We supply the students with snacks after they perform at football games and competitions. It is imperative that we have water with us so we can keep the students hydrated. If you are able to help out with snacks or water, you can drop it off on Monday directly after rehearsal, or at call time for the football game on Friday.
Mr. Dailey will be sending out specific times for the football game and the Legacy festival. This is usually sent out via the Band App, please be on the lookout for the schedule.
