There are a number of great options for fundraising outside of our big fundraising drives (aka Fundraising Events noted above). Our Fundraising Events are often noted in BAND updates and emails from the Director of Bands, Tim Dailey, and they will be posted on the main page when those updates occur. Some major Fundraising events include the Mile of Money, Restaurant Family Nights Out, Butter Braids, Crazy Socks, and the Summer Car Wash.

If you are looking for ways to generate some passive fundraising for your student all through the year, below are some of our favorite options. And you can share both of these with your friends and family… RaiseRight is nationwide, so feel free to reach out to your second cousin in Wisconsin.
RaiseRight
RaiseRight is Horizon High School Band’s easiest and fastest way to generate funds with family and friends. By using pre-purchased gift cards to pay for everyday items, each individual can $1,000 or more each year. No selling or going door to door. It is as simple as buying a gift card from RaiseRight for hundreds of different brands, using it like a credit card, and a portion of the points goes directly to your student!
- Go to RaiseRight.com in any browser or download the RaiseRight app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store! The app makes it easy to buy cards and use them right from your device.
- Create an account if you do not already have one.
- Contact [email protected] for the Enrollment Code (we do this to prevent fraud)
- Horizon Band Parents Association will appear when the enrollment code is applied. The HHSBPA acts as the fundraising coordinator with RaiseRight.
- Enter your Student’s Name in the Student Name field when prompted so the HHSBPA Treasurer can allocate the funds to your student.
- Go to the Account and Payment settings and follow up the instructions to link your funding accounts (credit, debit, or bank account).
- Shop for hundreds of brands! With the App on your phone, you can load your gift cards while in the line at the store and score the all that sweet bonus fundraising without breaking a sweat.
King Soopers Community Rewards
King Soopers is great way to leverage your King Sooper’s Loyalty card to fundraise for your student. Its easy, its free, and why are you still reading, go SIGN UP!
- Create digital account on King Soopers website.
- Sign in to your digital account.
- Enter the name (Horizon High School Band Parents Association) or NPO number (VY393) of the organization you wish to support.
- Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.
- Your selected organization will also display in the King Soopers Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.
